Game of Thrones isn't the only acclaimed show making a late return this year.
On Friday, USA announced that its hacking drama Mr. Robot will skip its customary summer debut in favor of an October premiere. (The network did not specify the exact date.) Earlier this week, HBO announced that, as expected, Game of Thrones will return in July, three months later than its usual start.
USA also said that it's adding Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire, Vinyl) to the cast, as a "laconic, no-nonsense" used-car salesman named Irving, and promoting B.D. Wong to series-regular status. That signals a higher profile for Wong's character, Whiterose, the head of the Chinese hacking group the Dark Army.
Production begins next month in New York with series creator Sam Esmail set to direct all 10 episodes.
