It's been a long, grueling hiatus for fans of Mr. Robot, which swapped its usual summer slot for a fall premiere this year. Season 3 debuts this week, picking up directly after that unexpected finale cliffhanger, which saw Tyrell (Martin Wallström) shoot Elliot (Rami Malek), proving once and for all the former is a real person and not an alternate personality. Last season also ended with pivotal, game-changing meetings for both the show's heroines: Angela (Portia Doubleday) came face to face with Whiterose (BD Wong), and seemingly reached an agreement of some kind with the Dark Army, while Darlene (Carly Chaikin) got hauled in for questioning by the FBI, and begins the new season under intense scrutiny.
In the exclusive clips below, Doubleday and Chaikin discuss the new season, Darlene and Angela's very different dark paths, and how their characters' evolving wardrobes reflect their emotional journeys.
